Introduction

Most people in the Manawatu District find it a desirable place to live with good services and friendly residents. However, like most communities, we have our share of redundancy, unemployment, health and social problems, as well as loneliness and isolation.

This directory was written to assist you to find assistance and support for yourself, whanau and family, neighbours or friends in times of need. If you have time on your hands and would like to be of service, this directory can also help you identify a service to which you can offer/volunteer your talents and time.
